Santo Domingo

It is the capital and the most populous city of the Dominican Republic, situated in the southern part of the country on the Caribbean coast. After Havana, it is the second largest city in the Caribbean.

Santo Domingo, on the west bank of the Ozama River, is the oldest city in the New World. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is a testament to the eldest years of concavators with the pastel-colored buildings of the impressive Spanish colonial architecture and the cobbled streets of the old town. It is worth visiting the first ever cathedral of the American continent, the Catedral Primada de Américat, the son of Columbus’s house, the Ozama Fortress (Fortaleza Ozama) or Plaza España, on Alcazar de Colom, on the shore of the Ozama River.
